Regular appointments are scheduled at specific times; one to two times a week. Individual treatment goals and needs, continuity of service, and available time slots will determine frequency. The client will be informed in advance should the therapy session needs to be re-scheduled or cancelled by the therapist. 

The following criteria will be considered necessary upon discharge from the service:

• A minimum of 12 sessions will be offered with the possibility for further sessions as required and review meeting after approximately 6-7 play therapy sessions.

•  A minimum of 30 sessions required regarding more difficult cases (as trauma, attachment difficulties)
